Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Bima Sakhi Yojana tomorrow. On Monday, he will be visiting Haryana, where he will inaugurate the Bima Sakhi Scheme from Panipat around 2 PM. On this special occasion of the LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) scheme launch, PM Modi will also present appointment certificates to potential Bima Sakhis. Eligibility for LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana
Eligibility and How to Apply:The LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana is designed for educated women, with the goal of making them financially independent. Under this scheme, women who have completed at least 10th grade will be trained for 3 years to develop financial awareness and educate others about the importance of insurance. The plan aims to empower women financially and encourage self-employment.This initiative by LIC is specifically for women aged between 18 and 70 who are at least 10th grade pass. These women will undergo specialized training for 3 years, where they will be taught how to increase financial literacy and promote the significance of insurance. During the training, the women will receive a stipend. After completing the training, women who have passed 10th grade will be eligible to work as LIC insurance agents. Additionally, women who hold a Bachelor’s degree will have the opportunity to become Development Officers at LIC.
